New England Patriots @ New Orleans Saints – 17/09/2017

New Orleans Saints v New England Patriots 17/09/2017

New England Patriots travel to New Orleans Saints this Sunday with a big points to prove after losing 27-42 at home to Kansas City Chiefs in a huge shock on match day one. New Orleans were also beaten 29-19 vs Minnesota Vikings in a game they was never expected to win so the pressure will still be on the Pats. Last time the teams played each other was in 2013 with the Patriots overcoming New Orleans 30-27 in a very close game witnessed by just under 70,000.

Not the best of starts to the season for New Orleans Saints and it doesn’t get easier when they take on New England Patriots, A very poor defence and a quick-strike attack meant the Minnesota Vikings to a 29-19 victory over the New Orleans Saints on Monday night football at U.S. Bank Stadium in week one of the NFL. Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford had a class game, going 27 of 32 for 346 yards with three TD’s and caused New Orleans Saints trouble all game. New Saints running back Adrian Peterson, who played the first 10 seasons of his career in Minneapolis, had the first carry of the game for the Saints, a 9-yarder, but carried the ball just five more times for a total of 18 yards. New Orleans saints best player was probably Drew Brees, 27 of 37 for 291 yards, Coby Fleener was the only TD scorer, New Orleans Saints could be in for a tough season.

New England Patriots looked to have folded under the pressure of the whole of America watching the SuperBowl champions as they opened up NFL season in defeat to Kansas City Chiefs, it looked to have been business as usual when they took a 7-0 lead, but then lost the third quarter 21-0.  Despite playing at home, The New England Patriots struggled to contain Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith who threw four touchdowns. Tom Brady couldn’t manage one as running back Mike Gillislee, ( Who got three Touchdowns) carried the load. Chiefs back Kareem Hunt enjoyed a dream debut — despite fumbling on his first possession — producing 148 yards and one touchdown from just 17 carries.Hunt also made five catches for 98 yards. FACT: Since Brady joined the Patriots through the 2000 NFL Draft the team never LOST a three-quarter time lead when the star quarterback suited up. Until The Patriots were trounced by the Kansas City Chiefs.

We do fancy New England Patriots to come back this weekend and show us what they are made of and give New Orleans Saints a bit of a battering, Brady’s offence should tear them apart, we don’t think New Orleans secondary is up to standard and they should get found out this weekend.
